UPDATE 09/11/2010
Kiwi and Rebekah have produced four eggs in their nest box since the last update. Only two of the eggs are fertile. The eggs are due to hatch next weekend on the 09/18. This is the first of fertile eggs out of the total of four clutches that they have had.
On 08/30, I was given free a pair of young female Blue Dutch Lovebirds. One is a creamino and the other has pretty light green feathers on the side but, the back and tail feathers are a medium blue.
Lui and Peaches are not producing so, I took peaches out of the cage with Lui and put in Greenie. Greenie is the Blue Dutch with light green / medium blue feathers.
The new creamino is named Dutches.

UPDATE 08/18/10
Infertile eggs times four were discarded on the 14th. A humidifier and hygrometer with a thermometer was added to the Lovebirds room. Hopefully this will help the atmosphere for the Lovebirds. In Africa (where the Lovebirds originated from) the humidity is always a relative 60% or above. The highest reading that I have seen on the hygrometer in their room is 57%.
The Lovebirds eat seed mix, millet, pellet, corn, carrot, string bean, green pea, cracker, grape, black berry, apple and fresh dechlorinated water.
