COLORATION

Kiwi is the green bird with peach colored cheeks, green body and green and blue tail feathers. Kiwi is called the Green or Original Peached Lovebird . On the other hand, Rebekah is one of several mutation colors formed from several years of cross breeding uniquely colored birds together, after establishing the lovebird in American aviculture. Rebekah is called a Creamino Peachfaced Lovebird. She has light yellow to white body feathers with red eyes and a blush of light peachface coloration across the top of beak.  There are eight other different species of  Lovebirds than the Peachfaced
 Lovebird.

The Eggs Should Hatch

The little African Lovebird eggs should start hatching around May 21, 2010.  We are all excited  and  waiting to see it happen.  The eggs are so tiny.  The hatchling will be very tiny too.  We are hoping that they will all be healthy and that all four babies will survive.  This is Rebecha and Kiwi's first clutch.  So far they seem to be very good parents.  I pray that they continue to be good parents in the raising of their young.
